소개

Company Overview Angel Robotics is a publicly listed Korean company that researches, develops, manufactures, and commercializes wearable robotics for healthcare, industrial safety, and defense. We are building more than robots: we are creating a mobility platform that understands, assists, and restores human movement. Our products and technologies sit at the intersection of medical devices, robotics, software, data, clinical practice, and global markets. Wearable robots such as Angel Legs M20 and Angel Suit H10 connect hospitals, patients, clinicians, therapists, and global partners while helping create entirely new markets. We are now moving beyond a technology-led robotics company. Our next chapter is to identify product and business opportunities that have not yet been clearly defined, and turn them into testable business hypotheses and executable plans. Position Overview This role is a key member of the Business Development Team. You will understand Angel Robotics' core technologies, uncover customer problems and market opportunities that have not yet been fully defined, and shape them into next-generation products and new businesses. You will connect internal research and development outcomes with external insights from customers, clinical practice, markets, public policy, and partners. Your work will help determine what we should productize, why we should act now, and what evidence should guide investment and execution. This is not a move away from research into administrative work. It is an opportunity to extend deep technical expertise into product strategy and business decision-making, and to help turn strong technology into products customers choose and businesses that can scale. Working in the Business Development Team in close partnership with the CEO, you will collaborate with R&D, RA/QA, clinical, manufacturing, marketing, sales, and finance. We are looking for a strategic operator who can convert uncertainty into testable hypotheses and executable plans, drive critical decisions, and stay accountable through productization and commercialization. This is not a role that simply manages a predetermined roadmap. As a core member of the team, you will help define Angel Robotics' next products and growth opportunities. You will work across the full lifecycle of an opportunity, from technology assessment and product strategy to the business case, partnerships, and launch readiness, while growing as a technology, product, and business leader. We are not looking for someone to manage answers that have already been decided. We are looking for someone who can ask better questions at the intersection of technology and the market, and help design the future the company should pursue.

주요업무

Key Responsibilities This role integrates complex technology, product, and business considerations to improve decision quality and help carry selected strategic initiatives through execution. Enterprise Technology, Product, and Business Opportunity Identification Analyze internal technology assets and product roadmaps alongside unmet customer needs, changes in clinical and industrial environments, competitive technologies, and public policy. Translate the most promising opportunities into clear Opportunity Theses and assess them based on strategic fit, feasibility, expected value, and risk. Current Product Competitiveness and Product Lifecycle Strategy Assess current products from an enterprise perspective, including customer value, clinical utility, usability, quality, serviceability, pricing, cost, and profitability. Use voice-of-customer, clinical, sales, service, and quality data to identify feature improvements, software and firmware updates, options and accessories, next-generation models, and service opportunities. Work with relevant teams to define the business case and priorities for maintaining, improving, expanding, or replacing each product. New Product and New Business Planning Define the target user, unmet need, core use case, and value proposition, and translate them into product concepts and high-level requirements. Build a coherent product logic covering intended use, critical functions and performance, differentiation, claims, regulatory and clinical pathways, target cost, and the business model. Validate key assumptions through customer interviews, field observation, prototypes, proofs of concept, and pilots, and continuously refine the product and business direction. Integrated Technology Strategy Across Software, Firmware, and AI Evaluate how mechanics, actuators, sensors, controls, embedded software and firmware, applications, cloud, AI, and data work together as an integrated product system. With technical teams, clarify trade-offs in performance, safety, usability, cybersecurity, data, schedule, and cost. Without replacing engineering design authority, connect technical choices to customer value, product requirements, and business objectives. Business Case Development and Stage-Gate Decision Support Develop business cases that go beyond market size to address adoption barriers, purchasing dynamics, pricing, target cost, margin, investment requirements, regulatory and clinical pathways, launch conditions, and key risks. Define the assumptions, validation plans, deliverables, owners, and decision criteria for each stage, and prepare Gate Reviews. Based on the evidence, present clear options and recommendations to Go, Pivot, Hold, or Stop. Domestic and International Business Opportunities and Strategic Partnerships Assess market opportunities and product fit by country and customer segment, and design market-entry logic covering regulation, clinical evidence, localization, pricing, channels, and service requirements. Develop collaboration models for co-development, validation, licensing, and market entry with hospitals, research institutions, technology companies, manufacturers, suppliers, public-sector organizations, and domestic and international business partners. Establish product-market fit, the partner model, and launch readiness so sales and marketing teams can execute for revenue. Cross-Functional Execution and Strategic Initiative Ownership For selected strategic initiatives, define the Program Charter, integrated milestones, functional owners, key dependencies, risks, and operating cadence. Frame cross-functional issues through the lens of product value and business viability, and escalate matters requiring resolution to functional leaders or executives at the right time. Use government-sponsored R&D programs and external funding opportunities as strategic assets to accelerate technology, products, regulatory approval, clinical evidence, pilots, and market entry. CEO Strategic Decision Support and Enterprise Opportunity Prioritization Synthesize internal technology assets, customer and market intelligence, cross-functional perspectives, and key data so the CEO can make balanced decisions across technology, product, business, and investment priorities. Structure critical management issues into clear questions, options, expected benefits, key risks, and a recommended course of action. Translate the opportunities the company should pursue into Opportunity Theses and Business Cases, and recommend priorities based on strategic fit, feasibility, and expected value. When warranted, objectively challenge existing assumptions or direction and present evidence-based alternatives and trade-offs across technology, market, and financial considerations. Convert the CEO's final decisions into specific initiatives, owners, and key milestones, and monitor follow-through and results.
