Conduct basic research and compile marketing information for reporting purposes General Responsibilities • Support superior in managing day-to-day operating expenditure against operating budgets to ensure efficient usage of resources • Coordinate and provide administrative support in implementing marketing plans for products and services to achieve business objectives and marketing strategies • Maintain records of actual marketing expenditures and supporting documents for comparisons against budget • Conduct basic/desk research and systematically compile data for analysis to derive market information • Create marketing tools (e.g. leaflets, banners, booth materials, etc.) to ensure effective execution of advertising and promotion activities • Provide administrative support in organizing product communication activities, launches, exhibitions, media relations activities, etc. to drive awareness of products/services • Assist in the compilation of marketing information/updates and market research data/analysis as inputs to management report preparation • Support business planning with internal/external stakeholders (e.g. sales) in budgeting, marketing plans development, etc. to align to business priorities • Work closely with external vendors and agencies (e.g. event organizers, advertising agencies, etc.) to ensure smooth execution of marketing activities Functional Skills and Knowledge • Demonstrate a basic knowledge and understanding of the business and industry • Demonstrate a basic knowledge in the company's products/services and application of marketing principles/practices • Demonstrate basic research and analytical skills • Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint) • Demonstrate fluency in local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken Education Diploma or professional qualification in Marketing/Economics/Business Administration or a related discipline
