Job description: As a Staff Data Analyst for the Supply Chain Automation Group, you will be solving business problems related to supply optimization with a view to enhancing and scaling products/programs that reduce out-of-stock while minimizing inventory holding costs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in predictive and descriptive analytics, along with experience working with cross-functional teams to drive business decisions and improve efficiency. Key responsibilities: ⚫ Define the right success metrics for the product/program, generate actionable insights from data, build predictive models as necessary ⚫ Work with large and complex datasets to derive insights Communicate insights to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner • Participate in experimentation design, A/B tests, product analytics, cohort studies and measuring the effectiveness of product launches Prioritization and time-management in a fast-paced environment, with deep problem-solving for the problem at hand Willingness to challenge the status quo and suggest improvements Qualifications: ⚫ 7+ years of relevant working experience in a data analytics role Proficiency in SQL, Python/R for data extraction and Excel for manipulation and analysis Strong knowledge of data visualization (PowerBI, Tableau or other tools) and data storytelling to communicate insights effectively to non-experts Preferred: Experience with data engineering tools such as GitHub and Airflow • Strong knowledge of statistics, ML techniques ⚫ Bi-lingual in English and Korean Previous experience in e-commerce, consumer internet/technology, retail Equal Opportunities for All Coupang is an equal opportunity employer.
