Team Description Packaging & Outsourcing team is responsible for procuring packaging material and outsourcing services for Coupang globally. We are a team of professionals with diverse experience of handling multiple categories across different regions and industries. What You Will Do • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for outsourced services supporting e-commerce operations, ensuring alignment with business goals for cost, service, and speed. • Lead procurement activities including market analysis, RFP/RFQ processes, contract negotiation, and vendor selection. • Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Experience, Compliance, EHS and Finance teams to gather requirements and ensure vendor solutions meet performance standards. • Manage strategic supplier relationships with a focus on service delivery, innovation, and continuous improvement. • Track and report on supplier KPIs, SLAs, and contract compliance; resolve performance issues promptly. Identify opportunities for cost optimization, scalability, and improved service delivery in a rapidly changing e-commerce environment. • Ensure compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, and sustainability (ESG) commitments. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and supply market shifts relevant to the e-commerce ecosystem. Support outsourcing transitions, contract renewals, and risk mitigation strategies. Essential Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred. • 10+ years of procurement experience, with at least 3-5 years in outsourcing within the e-commerce, retail, or tech sectors. [ Proven success in sourcing high-impact services such as customer service BPOs, fulfillment center operations, corporate service, EHS service, professional consulting service. Strong understanding of contract terms, commercial negotiations, and vendor risk management. • Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills. • Experience with procurement platforms (SAP Ariba etc.) and working in a fast- paced, agile environment.
