This role will oversee clinical research activities and play a crucial role in developing AI models and biomarker algorithms. The position is based in Seoul, Korea. <br><br>The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of clinical science, genuine interest in medical AI, strong problem solving and analytical thinking. Guide AI model development and validation<br>• Define well curated and structured ground truth and provide expert annotations to support the training and validation of pathology-based AI models<br>• Evaluate model performance based on histopathological standards and propose improvement strategies reflecting real-world diagnostic practice<br><br>2. Integrate medical expertise into product development<br>• Ensure clinical and pathological validity in biomarker product design by aligning model outputs with diagnostic workflows<br>• Bridge communication between pathology, engineering, and business development teams to guide AI feature development and usage<br><br>3. Lead pathology-driven clinical research<br>• Design and oversee clinical studies using AI-based pathology models, ensuring diagnostic accuracy and relevance to cancer biology<br>• Represent the pathology function in external research collaborations and contribute to publications and major conference presentations<br><br>4. Contribute to strategic and scientific leadership<br>• Analyze digital pathology and oncology trends to inform R&D and partnership strategy<br>• Identify and evaluate scientific and clinical opportunities for collaboration with pharma, diagnostics, and academic partners</p><h2>자격요건</h2><p>• Pathology board-certified MD<br>• Experience in clinical data analysis using R, Python or other languages<br>• Proven track record of successfully conducting medical researches<br>• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex scientific concepts and clinical data to diverse audiences<br>• Strong strategic and analytical skills, with demonstrated success in conducting medical researches<br>• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment<br>• Able to communicate professionally in English (over 15% of Lunitians are not native Korean speakers, including many senior memberships and leadership positions)<br>• Flexibility to collaborate closely with international colleagues in different time zones</p><h2>우대사항</h2><p>• Pathology fellowship training, and/or more than 2 years of post-board certification experience<br>• Experience in leading at least 1 clinical research project as a lead role<br>• Major authorships of medical papers<br>• Deep understanding of statistics and clinical data analysis<br>• Direct experience in AI model development in medical field<br>• Knowledge of biomarkers, companion diagnostics, or immuno-oncology<br>• Strong communication skills in English</p><h2>혜택 및 복지</h2><p>• The office is at a very convenient location, just a minute away from Gangnam Station Exit 3.<br>• Meal Allowance is provided (up to 12,000 KRW per meal) when working at the office.<br>• Up to 300,000 KRW is covered upon joining to decorate your personal workspace.<br>• Latest computer models, such as Macs and 4K monitors are provided and can be renewed every three years.<br>• Seminar registration fees and book purchases are covered.<br>• Regular in-house AI and medical seminars are held.<br>• In-house English lessons (aka Luniversal) is provided for English development.<br>• Access to high-quality AI learning resources & deep learning DevOps system.<br>• Up to 1.2 million KRW worth of benefits points can be claimed annually.<br>• Holiday Allowances are provided in the form of gifts or vouchers for Korean National holidays, Seollal and Chuseok.<br>• Congratulatory and Condolence allowances, along with paid time off are provided.<br>• Annual medical checkups and employee accident insurance are provided.<br>• Expenses for monthly employees gatherings are partially covered.</p>
